Horizon Europe Funds THIRDWAVE for Neuro-Symbolic AI

The European Union has granted funding to the THIRDWAVE project (Grant Agreement ID 101236394) under the Horizon Europe—Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges fund. The project will run from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2029.

The primary goal is to address the critical shortcomings of current Large Language Models (LLMs)—such as hallucinations and ethical concerns—by establishing an international network to advance LLM-driven neuro-symbolic AI for reliable, domain-aware systems in healthcare, education, and geodata engineering.
