"My secondment at TIB has been key for the development of my skills in the area of knowledge representation, which plays a critical role in most neuro-symbolic AI systems. This secondment has widely opened my acknowledgement of the potential and limitations of neuro-symbolic AI, offering a range of research lines aligned with contemporary challenges and in many fields such as medicine or education."

"My secondment has established a working relation with the TIB group. We have defined a roadmap with specific joint actions towards utilising neurosymbolic AI in the domain of ADHD. And we have had some initial results around the analysis of the reasoning capabilities of LLMs around nonmonotonic reasoning."

"My secondment within the THIRDWAVE significantly advanced my research in neuro-symbolic AI by enabling me to develop knowledge-guided methods combining LLMs with structured knowledge bases and rules. It also strengthened my expertise in explainable reasoning and multi-modal integration, and enabled me to disseminate these outcomes through invited lectures and training activities in Cameroon and Sénégal."
